Ian Ross
Ian is a facilitator, consultant and executive coach with 29 years’ experience of working at Board and Senior Executive level. His clients include blue-chip companies, charities, NGOs and Government departments spanning the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Americas. His skill is built on an earlier commercial career with British European Airways, East African Airways (Nairobi, Kenya), Hertz Corporation, Four Square Catering and Vending (Division of Mars), Avis Car Leasing/Midland Bank joint venture, and Team Training Europe.

In recent years Ian has increasingly focused on the facilitation of issues and negotiations with significant impact, risk and/or high emotional charge. In particular, he has developed skill in helping people to transcend corporate, personal and cultural differences in a way that achieves mutually beneficial results, even where there is major disagreement and/or lack of understanding and respect. The contexts for his successful interventions range from European corporate boardrooms to Colombian oil and gas exploration, and from inter-tribal conflicts in the Zambezi region of Namibia through to anti-terrorism activities in Afghanistan.
He also consults for AKC Global (London and Washington DC) dealing with applying Complex Systems thinking to so-called ‘wicked problems’ and is an advisor and facilitator for Consulting Africa’s Activate arm.
Lynne Kerry
Lynne has been working as an international trainer, facilitator and coach since 1986 and during that time has designed, developed and delivered hundreds of courses, across many different industry sectors, for all levels of personnel, in more than a dozen countries worldwide – including projects in the UK and Ireland, both Western and Eastern Europe and West Africa.
Lynne’s earlier diverse commercial background includes senior roles in Marketing Research, Account Management, Sales, Human Resources and Talent Management. This provides a rare depth and range of experience, enabling her to go beyond mere theory to offer real, practical examples from her own and other’s experience.
As a direct result of the people and situations she has encountered during her long and varied career Lynne is passionate about enabling organisations, teams and individuals (particularly women) to reach their goals and develop their full potential. She achieves this through an ability to build and maintain high levels of rapport and strong, trusting relationships – even under the most challenging circumstances.
Lynne is internationally accredited as a Master Practitioner, Coach Practitioner and Certified Trainer of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).

David Owen
David acquired extensive legal experience through 30 years of practice as a senior UK Barrister, Trial Advocate and Serious Sex Crimes Prosecutor, conducting criminal cases for Prosecution and Defence.
As a consultant and independent investigator since 2011, he has specialised in working in increasingly challenging international jurisdictions and areas of the law. He has worked as a trainer and consultant on multiple programs for juvenile justice, people trafficking, child abuse and exploitation, justice reform and counter-terrorism, and has conducted expert witness training for UK organisations.
Areas of expertise
He has delivered training for judges, prosecutors and defence lawyers in Somaliland and Afghanistan on counter-terrorism, juvenile justice and UNCRC child rights, gender-based violence and child abuse case preparation, trafficking in persons and provision of legal aid—case management and advocacy skills.
On behalf of UNICEF and Coram Children’s Legal Centre he has delivered training to judges and lawyers in juvenile justice, the UNCRC and legal aid provision for children in conflict with the law or in need of protection in Africa and Central Asia.
He has also drafted materials and delivered training for Rwanda for Justice to multi-disciplinary groups of lawyers, social workers, psychologists, doctors, police investigators and judges on every aspect of investigations, case development, evidence and court presentation.
As a Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) approved trainer in investigations and investigation management he delivers investigation training and conducts investigations for INGOs into allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation up to, and including, senior management level.
Furthermore, he has extensive experience conducting and advising on investigations into allegations of sexual assault, sexual exploitation and abuse, bullying, sexual harassment, abuse of power by senior managers and reputational damage, as well as conducting safeguarding reviews in organisations and refugee camps in Afghanistan, Zambia and Ethiopia.
